OSRC to launch 9-day Red Hat Linux (RHCE) Training Program |

As part of its new roster of initiatives, the OSRC intends to fulfill the IT industry's growing demand by launching a Red Hat Linux (RHCE) Training Program. Its objective is to convince companies, public/ private organizations, institutes and SMEs to migrate to a more cost-effective open source working environment. The target audience includes any industry’s experienced IT personnel, network and system administrators, IT managers, telephone company/ network engineers, IT consultants who want to serve the IT market, and experienced professionals working in a Linux/ UNIX environment with IT companies in Pakistan. A pre-requisite for participants is a minimum of two years of network experience. Sound working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and its commands is an additional preference.
The OSRC will simultaneously conduct its training program in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi from. Dates will be announce later on. Shortlisted candidates will be notified individually via e-mail. Their names, and those of their organizations, will also be made available on OSRC's website.

The target audience includes the call center industry’s IT personnel, network and system administrators, IT managers, Telco engineers, VoIP service providers, VoIP traders, CT developers, IT consultants who want to serve the voice/data convergence market, and students interested in VoIP projects. A pre-requisite for participants is a basic understanding of Linux/UNIX and its commands. |
