Institute for Development Studies and Practices is an academic and research institution working in the field of community development for the last eight years. We have trained and developed more then 800 people across Pakistan.

We at Open Source Resource Center (OSRC) are supporting them in migration from Microsoft to open source software. We have completed the migration of MS-Office to Openoffice and currently are working on switching their operating sytem from Microsoft Windows XP to Ubuntu Linux. Currently we are providing them support via email and phone.

Since the migration is almost complete, linuxpakistan community members have volunteered to provide them support after the migration is complete.
